A change to the wages promise. Running TLEP, the leading, managing, admin and day-to-day, is paid the minimum wage and never more, whoever does it. Grants, donations and government money are given to help the programme, not to buy a service: they can pay that minimum wage, never the founder's specialist work, which is paid only from what it earns. TLEP is starting to apply for grants and government funding.

Pay in the Open Book became one line: wages. Whoever does the work is paid what it is worth, not just the minimum wage. The promise about grants changed on 22 October: see "Running it: the minimum wage."
18 October 2026 / Update 02
The plan is now four stages: RE:KONNECT first, then RE:SKILL, the Hub (RE:GENERATE) and RE:ENTRY. The Open Book shows what comes in, what goes out and what is left.

The build is self-funded for now. The test is whether useful paid work and community support can resource the mission.
